A proud ABJ Alum, Rebekah is thrilled to begin teaching at her home studio! Starting at age three, Rebekah studied all types of dance under the direction of Susu Hale Prout. She fell in love with performing and became a member of the ABJ company at a young age. Rebekah went on to excel at a regional and national level winning scholarships at some of the country’s top conventions. She also regulary placed in the top 5 with her solos at conventions like Jump, Nuvo, 24/7 and NYCDA. She has worked with dozens of choreographers such as Gregg Russell, Francisco Gella, Judy Rice, Barry Youngblood, Bree Hafen, Joey Dowling and many many more. Rebekah also held lead roles in many of ABJ’s spectacular Gala Performancs like Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, & Peter Pan. Upon her graduation, she became a member of the famous Crimson Cabaret and was able to perform at many University of Alabama sporting events. Rebekah was an integral part of the ABJ Company during her tenure at ABJ and is going to make a wondereful addition to our faculty. She can’t wait to share her love of dance with her students and keep playing a part in the studio that was so important to her for many years.
